Holden Knight Healthcare is excited to be recruiting on behalf of a small, passionate, and dedicated Fostering Agency that is looking for a skilled Supervising Social Worker. **Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and support to foster carers, ensuring high-quality care for children placed in foster homes.
  • Carry out regular supervision visits and assessments to monitor the well-being of both carers and children.
  • Work collaboratively with fostering panels, local authorities, and other professionals involved in the child's care.
  • Manage a caseload of foster carers and ensure all statutory responsibilities and regulations are met.
  • Support foster carers with training, development, and access to resources.
  • Participate in recruitment, assessments, and approval of prospective foster carers.

**Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Supervising Social Worker or within Children's Services.
  • Knowledge of fostering regulations and national minimum standards.
  • A passion for supporting foster families and improving the lives of vulnerable children.
  • Ability to manage a caseload and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Social Work England registration and a recognized social work qualification (e.g., DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent).
