**Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and support to foster carers, ensuring high-quality care for children placed in foster homes.
- Carry out regular supervision visits and assessments to monitor the well-being of both carers and children.
- Work collaboratively with fostering panels, local authorities, and other professionals involved in the child's care.
- Manage a caseload of foster carers and ensure all statutory responsibilities and regulations are met.
- Support foster carers with training, development, and access to resources.
- Participate in recruitment, assessments, and approval of prospective foster carers.
**Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Supervising Social Worker or within Children's Services.
- Knowledge of fostering regulations and national minimum standards.
- A passion for supporting foster families and improving the lives of vulnerable children.
- Ability to manage a caseload and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Social Work England registration and a recognized social work qualification (e.g., DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent).
