Career Moves are seeking an experienced temporary Senior Credit Controller to ensure the efficient operation of our client's sales ledger in line with their company policies.
This role is a stand-alone role within a large finance team, the successful candidate must be self sufficient and happy to use their own initiative.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement credit policies to meet cash and debtor targets.
- Work across both product and services led client portfolios
- Liaise closely with BPO offshore credit team
- Pursue overdue debts through phone, email, and letters within agreed timeframes.
- Resolve disputed invoices, negotiating payments within agreed terms.
- Maintain accurate sales ledger accounts.
- Address customer issues with a holistic, solution-focused approach.
- Process new customer credit applications using credit reference agencies.
- Post and allocate payments to accounts as needed.
- Collaborate with finance and sales teams to manage customer accounts within the agreed framework and credit terms.
About You
- Minimum of 3+ years of credit control experience in a similar or senior role.
- SAP experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive problem-solving approach.
- Skilled in influencing, negotiating, and managing challenging customers or situations.
- Independent problem solver with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
- Works well under pressure with a keen eye for detail.
- Effective management and coaching skills to optimize team performance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and Teams.
