International SOS is currently recruiting an Operations Specialist to join its team of Medical, Security and Logistics experts based in London, Chiswick

This role is based on-site at the enjoy-work offices in Chiswick.

Shifts are 3 days on, 4 days off weekly.

Key responsibilities

Operations Specialists duties:

  • Demonstrate a compassionate and proactive attitude when answering queries with the objective of exceeding expectations
  • Coordinate cases effectively by booking appointments, authorizing treatments or handling policy claims using professionalism and care
  • Assess situations, co-ordinate medical care and communicate logistics across the world
  • Collaborate with a team of doctors, nurses, security and operations experts in a fast-paced environment.

About you

In order to be successful in this role you will need:

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Critical thinking and organisational skills to handle a variety of situations
  • Naturally sympathetic with determination to help people
  • The ability to take ownership of protecting data and process integrity
  • Confidence in using Microsoft Office
  • Experience as a Customer Service Executive in a contact centre or similar environment would be beneficial
  • Educated to A' Level or Degree level with an interest in Healthcare, World Politics or International Security is preferred
