Cover Supervisor
Location: Wakefield
Salary: £94-£110 per day
Contract: Full Time, Immediate Start
About the Role: GSL Education are currently seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking, and committed Cover Supervisor. We are looking for someone with a proactive 'can-do' attitude and a passion for doing whatever it takes.

Job Summary:
- Provide classroom supervision for pupils where colleagues are absent from duty.
- Complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities.
- Maintain accurate records in the teacher's absence, such as providing feedback to the teacher and keeping accurate registers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure that lesson objectives set by a teacher are met.
- Support students in completing tasks and understanding the material.
- Report back on the behaviour of pupils during the class and any issues arising.
Qualifications:
- 4 or more GCSEs at Grade C/4 or higher, including English and Maths (or equivalent grades/qualifications) essential.
- Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to promote a positive learning environment.
- Good interpersonal and organisational skills.
