We are actively recruiting for a good job opportunity for a firm of accountants in Peterborough, who are looking for a Semi-Senior Accountant to join their Agriculture, Food and Farming team.
The salary is negotiable and will of course depend on experience and qualification - being open within reason.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements to final accounts for review
- Prepare accounting schedules
- Adhere to proper accounting standards.
- Work on a wide range of accounts.
- Develop and maintain good client relations.
- Liaise with clients directly or through relevant managers to resolve queries or obtain further information.
- Make timely and relevant recommendations in relation to accounting matters, financial reporting, and accounting systems in use (including software).
Requirements:
- AAT level 3 or 4, ACCA, or ACA studier.
- Strong practical knowledge/experience of accounts preparation with experience within an accountancy practice environment.
- Experience of work within an Agricultural or associated background is preferred.
- Cloud based accounting systems knowledge would be helpful on systems such as Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks.
