**Here's what you'll be doing

npower Business Solutions (nBS) is the E.ON UK Industrial and Commercial (I&C) pillar and a market leader in the B2B energy retail sector. I&C is a £6 billion revenue business serving c60,000 customers and around 300,000 meter points with a view to becoming the number one B2B energy supplier in the UK.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Complex Pricing Manager to join our team. For this role, you will be responsible for managing the pricing of complex fixed and flex export structured products for the entire nBS export portfolio, ensuring costs and pricing reflect current and forecast market conditions, while supporting volume and hedging risk mitigation via the appropriate product selection. This role offers the hybrid working approach, where you will be working in the office (Solihull) 2 days per week.

Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for the development of new and existing complex pricing processes.
  • Accountable for timely, accurate and cost reflective pricing ensuring the application of accurate known and forecast costs and delivery of anticipated contract margin.
  • Delivering prices for a complex product suite and resolving complicated, high value queries from well informed customers and Third Party Intermediaries (TPIs).
  • Responsible for ensuring there is appropriate control in place to manage pricing and contract management, statement & invoice production for power related products and environmental certificates ensuring DOA authorisation is adhered to and that effective risk mitigation is in place.
  • Understand and interpret complex product structures ensuring that processes, systems and SLAs are developed that support efficient pricing, whilst recognising and mitigating the risk involved.
  • Through clear leadership of line managing the entire pricing team, develop and deliver a performance culture and capability within the pricing team to understand the complex commercial risks, product structures and contracting process so that continuous improvement, improved efficiency and automation are considered BAU.
  • Complete accountability for the prioritisation of workflow and resource allocation of a team of analysts ensuring the pricing, contract management procedures are concluded in accordance with the deadlines set out in SLAs, route to market agreements and customer contracts.

**What we need from you

  • Strong managerial skills and a champion of change.
  • Focused on delivery of results, management of deadlines and a driver of performance empowering the team to deliver through building a high performance culture.
  • Experience in Complex Pricing or a Risk Management environment.
  • Strong understanding of electricity and gas trading arrangements, in particular system imbalance.
  • In depth understanding of valuation and risk analysis methods and statistical analysis.
  • Strong understanding of commercial, financial and generation services functions.
  • Demonstrate ability to transform theoretical knowledge to practical, real-world situations and be able to articulate complex issues in a concise and compelling fashion up to and at C-Suite level within our customer base.
  • Have strong IT skills MS Office suite (especially Excel), VB(A), statistical packages.
