My client is a leading Civil and Structural Engineer firm with a reputation for delivering high-quality projects across various sectors, including commercial, education, industrial, residential, healthcare, defence, and public sector.
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity pursue your career in civil engineering. The successful candidate will work on a variety of projects, gaining valuable experience and exposure to different aspects of civil engineering, including design, analysis, and project management.
Key Responsibilities of a Graduate Civil Engineer:
- Assist in the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects.
- Conduct site visits and surveys to gather data and assess project feasibility.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers on project deliverables.
- Ensure that all work complies with relevant standards, codes, and regulations.
- Participate in the development of detailed engineering plans, drawings, and specifications.
Qualifications and Skills of a Graduate Civil Engineer:
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- 1-2 years of industry experience
- Experience with flood risk, sustainable urban drainage, biodiversity net gain, and nutrient neutrality knowledge (Preferred)
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, InfoDrainage or similar.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
