Customer Success Manager - Hybrid working London

AJ Chambers are working with a Professional Services Firm who have a brand new role for a Business Success Manager to join the team working alongside the MD, Marketing Manager and all teams in Accountancy and Legal.

This role would be suitable for someone who has a minimum of 2 years' experience in Customer Success or Business Development. They are looking for a bright, positive and pro-active individual who can work on their own initiative and take this role and really make it their own. You will look forward to interacting directly with all our clients and supporting the business development of the business as a whole. The role will be split between new and existing clients with 50% of focus to drive new business development and 50% of time working with our current client base.

You will be motivated by the opportunity to work with and support exciting, predominantly tech-enabled businesses. For a Founder, their business is much more than just their job. We can help them to deliver their goals and objectives by providing them with the right advice at the right time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Existing Clients: Increase client satisfaction, retention and referrals

  • Champion our Client-First strategy by listening, learning and understanding what matters most to our clients.
  • Build relationships with our current client base and identify how we can deliver more value to them out-with the current instructions they have with us.
  • Support Client leads in their regular client check-ins and ensure outputs are accurately tracked and followed up.
  • Surprise and delight clients by delivering thoughtful and timely thanks/congratulations/support.
  • Ensure the Client Experience is seamless when any service delivery change is implemented.
  • Champion the best practice use of the firm's HubSpot CRM system.
  • Assist any of our team with any adhoc Client support or analysis needed.

New Clients: Deliver and convert new business for all departments

  • Be the first port of call for all new business. Listen to understand the needs and then distribute these leads to the relevant department when and where appropriate.
  • Assist with the production of specific proposals, collaborating with the Marketing team and sector leads where appropriate.
  • Be responsible for all initial prospect management to ensure that all leads are followed up in a timely manner by managing the early stages of the Deal pipeline in HubSpot.
  • Event planning, coordination, and delivery (both locally in London and in other jurisdictions as required) including masterclasses, bespoke client events, corporate hospitality and webinars.
  • Coordination of and participation in regular planning and review meetings with our teams including innovative idea generation.
  • Curate and maintain a calendar of future key events for the wider team to choose to attend for BD purposes.
  • Build and maintain your own network by identifying and attending relevant networking events.

The successful individual will ideally have minimum 2 years' experience in a Customer Success or a Business Development role. A knowledge of the professional services sector would be ideal.

You will also be a natural collaborator, you will have the ability to form and maintain effective relationships being a people person, you will be enthusiastic to speak to clients, employees and new people.
