Logistics Deputy Team Lead

Based near Worthing
Join our client's dynamic team, supporting the ongoing development of high-performance gasoline engines for premium supercar OEMs. This role is key in maintaining excellent product quality and performance standards through assembly, test, and warranty processes.
Location / Hours
You'll be based close to Worthing, 5 days per week; Monday - Friday 40 hours a week. You'll need to be able to drive there or be on close public transport links. Free parking available.
Hours are WEEK ONE: 6am to 2:15pm. WEEK TWO: 2:30 to 10:45pm, then alternating each week between early and late shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely arrivals and departures of inbound and outbound goods through communication
- Accurate and timely picking of customer orders.
- Updating stock levels in timely manner using WMS.
- Processing of recyclable materials.
- Work to the highest Health and Safety levels
Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge of Warehouse Operations.
- Current Forklift Truck license would be advantageous.
- Previous experience within a fast moving environment
- Able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Experience driving continuous improvement
