Are you a dedicated and passionate individual looking to support children's learning in a vibrant school environment? We are seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team in Liverpool, working full-time with potential for the role to continue until the end of the academic year.
Responsibilities:
- Support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons
- Assist with the planning and implementation of individual and group learning activities
- Work closely with children to provide support in their academic, social, and emotional development
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and positive learning environment
- Assist with the preparation of classroom resources and materials
- Supervise children during break and lunchtime
- Provide one-to-one or small group support for students where necessary
- Support children with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND) as required
Requirements:
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Previous experience working with children in a school setting
- A caring, patient, and flexible approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- A DBS check will be required
