Job Overview:

As a day-to-day supply teacher, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of schools across Camden, covering lessons in the absence of the regular class teacher. This role offers a fantastic chance to gain experience in different educational settings while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons to a range of age groups and abilities.
  • Follow the school's policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and positive learning environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, behavior, and lesson plans.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support the school's curriculum and educational goals.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students to aid their academic progress and personal development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience within a KS3 classroom setting
  • Enthusiasm and a passion for education
  • Adaptability and resilience

Desirable:

  • Additional qualifications or training relevant to secondary education.
  • Experience using educational technology to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development and a commitment to furthering teaching practice.
