This organisation has gone through a tremendous period of growth in recent years and are looking for a talented Accountant to join their expanding finance function. This organisation are looking for a talented and confident individual, someone who has experience being involved with financial meetings with senior management and stakeholders and an individual with a strong level of experience covering a variety of accounting responsibilities. Their offices are easily accessible and the organisation offer a flexible hybrid working style.
This organisation provides a brilliant chance for an experienced individual to really make their mark on an SME organisation. There is a strong level of autonomy in this position where you can introduce new systems and processes if you believe there are areas to grow within the organisation. It's a role where you will be working closely with the FD and will be able to have your opinions and thoughts heard and considered when decisions are made. Responsibilities include tasks such as producing the monthly management account packs, posting journals, completing reconciliations, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders. The organisation really looks to help its staff transition and grow within this role and are on hand to receive feedback and understand if positive changes can be implemented. There is a fantastic culture on offer here and the team are ready and eager to help welcoming in new staff into the finance function.
Skills Required
- To either be AAT Qualified, or to have already started studying for your ACCA or CIMA qualifications.
- To be confident when producing monthly management account packs and responsibilities such as Payroll duties.
- To have a strong level of communication skills, as in this role you will be liaising with external stakeholders and working closely with senior management.
- To be driven and to have a strong work ethic, as in this role you will be an integral part of the finance function.
