What you'll do:

As the Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial operations of the company. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing three direct reports, overseeing weekly payment runs, and handling cash management across various bank accounts. You will also be responsible for coordinating weekly flash reporting and handling month-end procedures for two subsidiary companies. As the key contact for the audit process, your expertise in this area will be invaluable. Additionally, you will manage invoice discount facility reconciliation and oversee revenue reconciliation.

  • Manage 3 direct reports including 2 Accounting Assistants and 1 Accounts Payable Manager
  • Oversee weekly payment runs up to £5k
  • Manage cash across multiple bank accounts
  • Coordinate weekly flash reporting
  • Handle month-end procedures for two subsidiary companies
  • Act as key contact for audit process
  • Manage invoice discount facility reconciliation
  • Oversee revenue reconciliation

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Finance Manager role brings proven experience in finance management or as a Management Accountant. You have strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Financial System and are proficient in Sum Ifs/Filtering/Pivot Tables, X Look Ups at an intermediate level. Your experience in managing teams and developing people management skills sets you apart. You have the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. Your experience in audit processes and month-end procedures is crucial for this role. Lastly, your excellent communication skills enable you to coordinate effectively with various teams.

  • Proven experience in finance management or as a Management Accountant
