This Secondary School in Redhill is on the lookout for an enthusiastic Maths Teacher to inspire and empower students.

About the school:

The school is situated in Redhill, a commuter belt town in the Surrey Fringe area, close to the M25 and there are good transport links to London and the South Coast from Redhill station. The school is a lovely place to work with staff that are friendly and supportive of one another: relationships between staff and pupils were recognised by Ofsted as 'exceptionally strong'.

The mathematics department prides itself on having a well-focused and enthusiastic team who are always looking at improving teaching and making learning fun for the students. There are a total of 15 maths teachers; nine are full-time and six are part-time. They have a total of 12 specialist classrooms, installed with a projector and a desktop computer and equipped with an array of textbooks and resources. Also having a bank of 32 Chromebooks which are used on a regular basis with many different classes.

Salary: £31,350 - £47,839 per annum / £150-£250 per day

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and deliver stimulating Maths lessons that engage students and promote understanding.
  • Create an inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and supported.
  • Utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to facilitate growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design curriculum materials and enhance the learning experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field.
