Job Purpose
- Manage a varied client portfolio, monitoring WIP, deadlines, and budgets
- Preparation and review of year-end accounts
- Preparation of accounts for Limited companies, under FRS105 and FRS102(1A)
- Preparation of management accounts
- Preparation and review of corporate tax returns and tax computations
- Review of VAT returns and bookkeeping prepared by junior staff
- Build trusted and long-lasting client relationships, dealing with day-to-day matters
- Mentor junior staff, including workflow management, reviewing work, and providing training
- Escalate complex queries to a partner and work closely with them to problem solve
- Review processes and implement more efficient ways of service delivery
- Set an example as a hands-on and supportive Manager

The successful candidate
- ACCA / ACA qualified or soon to be qualified
- A minimum of three years' UK practice experience
- Qualified by extensive experience would also be considered
- Adept at using accountancy software
- Technically competent across the Microsoft suite
- A can-do attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Highly organised and able to manage own workload effectively
- Good communication and advisory skills
- Confident working alongside senior management
- Motivated and able to inspire others
- Collaborative and creative
- Strong business acumen
