Temp - Early Intervention Officer

35 Hours per Week between 8am - 8pm

May be required to work occasional Saturday mornings between 9am - 1pm

Week on week until December 2024

Salary: £15.16 per hour + holiday pay (London) £13.16 per hour + holiday pay (Outside London)

An exciting new team has been created within our clients busy and vibrant Income Collection Department. The Early Arrears Intervention Team will be responsible for the recovery of both historic and new, early arrears and providing an excellent customer service.

We're looking for people who are highly motivated, target driven who strive to meet and exceed KPI's with a great ability to prioritise and manage your own time. You must have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively both as part of a team and independently but most of all, have a real passion to make a difference and help our customers.

Key Duties

  • Always contribute to the team and Departments performance in the reduction of arrears. Provide excellent Customer Service to all internal and external Customers, contributing to the continuous improvement of the team demonstrating energy and enthusiasm at all times.
  • Consistently achieve a high level of contact with Customers through all means of contact but primarily through outbound calls with the aim of taking payment, agreeing suitable arrangement plans, promoting Direct Debit, signposting to relevant internal and external support agencies where relevant.
  • Working on a series of campaigns such as Unpaid Direct Debits, Failed Arrangements including the use of a Dialler System, as directed by the Early Intervention Team Leader or Income Manager to support the Departments aim of arrears reduction.
  • Represent Income Management to other internal stakeholders creating effective professional relationships and build strong internal relationships that enable you to deliver on accounts issues and Customer Promise.
  • Maintain the necessary relevant records and systems eg Tallyman, D365, PTX.

Training Provided:

This is a homeworking role but there will be up to 4 weeks of training provided which will require you to be at our Sidcup office during the training

You will also be required to attend the Sidcup office approximately every 6 weeks for additional training, coaching and team meetings.
