An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Interim Finance Manager to join a dynamic team. This pivotal role will lead the management accounting team, providing robust accounting and management information to various divisions. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely month-end accounts, ensuring balance sheet reconciliations are complete, accurate, and timely.

As an Interim Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading the finance teams within the SSC function. You will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial information, ensuring that all balance sheet reconciliations are complete, accurate, and timely. Your role will also involve maintaining effective process controls while driving process improvements within the team. You will have the opportunity to build and maintain effective relationships with operational teams and other SSC and group functions. Your ability to prioritise workload will ensure that both short-term and long-term goals are met.

  • Leading and developing the Finance teams to ensure a high level of service to the business
  • Delivering accurate and timely month end accounts and other financial information to the customers of the SSC
  • Ensuring balance sheet reconciliations are complete, accurate and timely
  • Maintaining effective process controls whilst driving process improvements within the team
  • Building and maintaining effective relationships with operational teams and other SSC and group functions
  • Prioritising workload to ensure both short and long term goals are met

The ideal candidate for this Interim Finance Manager position will be CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified (or equivalent). Experience of working in a shared Service Centre environment would be beneficial but is not essential. However, experience of accounting processes in a large/high volume organisation is essential. The successful candidate must have a positive attitude with a desire to take responsibility for the quality of customer service provided by the finance team. An ability to prioritise workload to ensure both short- and long-term goals are met is crucial, as is evidence of working to and meeting deadlines in a pressurised environment.

  • CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Experience of working in a shared Service Centre environment is desirable but not essential
  • Experience of accounting processes in a large/high volume organisation is essential
