Job title: Strategic Finance Partner

Contract: 3 to 4 days per week, permanent. (could be ideal for a finance professional either looking to return to work or to reduce work life commitment)

Salary: Up to£50k (depending on experience) pro rata

Reports to: Chief Executive

The Role

The role is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced finance professional. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the organisation's finances and ensuring the smooth operation of all finance controls and processes.

The role require will helping and developing finance strategy alongside the chief executive and the executive board, this is a hands-on position and will involve various aspects of finance, requiring close collaboration with operations and project managers.

As strategic finance partner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining NGI's financial stability and advancing its sustainable, inclusive goals. Your responsibilities will include overseeing all financial operations, providing strategic guidance, and offering insights to support decision-making processes. This is a chance to demonstrate your expertise while contributing to a lasting economic impact for future generations. Ability to be hands with all finance processes whilst and mentoring and developing your finance colleagues is a must.

You will have:

  • Professional qualification ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
  • Strong financial management skills.
  • Problem solving skills and initiative.
  • Strong attention to detail and an investigative nature.
  • Highly organised, with good time management, the ability to prioritise workload and administrative skills.
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Recent payroll processing and reporting.
  • Dealing with a wide range of people at all levels.
  • Team working.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and targets.
  • Strongly motivated, reliable, and conscientious.
  • Flexible, willing, and able to accommodate reasonable business requirements.
