The Role:
We're seeking a talented Management Accountant to drive financial success and provide insightful analysis for a client of ours based in Exeter. While motor trade experience is not essential, a passion for detail and strategic thinking is crucial.
Responsibilities and Requirements of a Management Accountant:
Prepare accurate and timely management accounts and financial statements.
Develop and manage budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Analyse financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying and explaining variances.
Monitor and control costs, providing recommendations for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
Assist in strategic financial planning and decision-making processes.
Manage and forecast cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
Evaluate profitability of products, projects, or departments, providing insights for strategic decisions.
Maintain and improve financial systems and processes to ensure accurate and efficient financial management.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls.
Utilise financial reporting tools and software to streamline reporting and analysis processes.
Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support business decisions and initiatives.
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
The Package:
Basic Salary: £40,000 + £6,000 Bonus + Car!!!
Hours: Monday to Friday [8:30am - 5:30pm]!!
