Description
As a Credit Controller you will be responsible for:
- Manage the collection of outstanding invoices to ensure timely payment
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients
- Prepare and present reports on collection activities and progress
- Resolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices
- Perform credit checks on potential clients and assess creditworthiness
- Implement effective recovery strategies
- Coordinate with the Accounting & Finance department to reconcile accounts
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
Profile
A successful Credit Controller should have:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field
- Strong knowledge of credit control procedures and debt collection regulations
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in using MS Office suite and accounting software
- Analytical mind with the ability to make accurate mathematical computations
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards
