Credit Controller

My client is seeking a Credit Controller to join their team on a fixed-term contract basis. The ideal candidate will be organised, tech-savvy, and possess excellent communication skills. Experience with Sage Intacct or similar platforms is highly desirable. You will be responsible for managing up to 100 clients with a ledger value of approximately £1 million per month.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Manage and oversee up to 100 client accounts with a ledger value of c.£1m per month.
- Maintain organised records of all credit control activities.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients to ensure timely payments.
- Utilise Sage Intacct credit control platform to manage accounts effectively.
- Communicate with clients via telephone and email to resolve any payment issues.
- Monitor client accounts for delayed payments and other irregularities.
- Perform account reconciliations and generate age analysis reports.
- Report on the status of accounts and discrepancies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in credit control or a similar financial role.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Proficiency with credit control software, Sage Intacct experience is a bonus.
- Excellent relationship-building and telephone manner.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Good understanding of financial and accounting principles.
