Finance Manager
Location: Halifax
Salary: £25,000 - £32,000 per year + profit share

Role Overview:
The Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in managing the financial operations of the business. This includes overseeing day-to-day finance activities and providing strategic guidance to senior management to support business growth. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the company's Finance Director (FD) and various internal teams to ensure effective financial practices are maintained. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Maintain and enhance financial administration procedures.
- Evaluate client creditworthiness and set credit limits in line with company policy.
- Manage credit risks, negotiate payment terms, and ensure proper payment procedures.
- Handle unresolved debts by working with legal or debt collection agencies.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual KPI reports for senior management.
- Assist with cash flow reporting and forecasting, providing key insights to the FD.
- Improve financial processes to support business growth.
- Manage additional finance-related projects, such as vehicle and fixed asset schedules.
Skills & Requirements:
- Experience in financial management, accounts administration, or a similar role.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to assess credit risk and negotiate payment terms.
- Proficiency in financial reporting and forecasting.
- Proactive approach to improving financial processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
