Job Description:
Driver Hire Gatwick is looking for reliable Van Drivers to join our team in Crawley looking to start immediately on a ongoing position. The role will require you to do two or three runs daily of palletized goods in and around the South East and the surrounding areas. This role involves delivering a variety of items, using a pump Truck and curtain sider vehicles. This position has the potential for permanent placement and the right candidate need to be able to start ASAP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliveries: Safely and efficiently deliver the variety of items that our clients are heaving prepared for you to deliver.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, ensuring clients are satisfied with their deliveries.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct regular checks and maintenance of the delivery van to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries and communicate any issues promptly.
Requirements:
- Valid Driving License: Must hold a valid UK driving license.
- MUST LIVE WITHIN 10 MILES OF CRAWLEY
- Experience: Previous experience as a van driver is preferred.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and dependable.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to handle physical work, including loading and unloading items.
- Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Local Knowledge: Familiarity with East Grinstead and surrounding areas is an advantage.
