Payroll Administrator

Pertemps are delighted to be sourcing for a new, exciting role for a Glasgow city centre organisation that require a Payroll professional to join the team. The function of this position is to assist with the processing of the monthly payroll and provide support to the business. You will have previous experience working in a high-volume payroll environment. Salary up to £27k depending on experience.

Duties include:

  • Assisting the Senior Payroll Advisor with monthly payroll processing (new starts, leavers,
  • transfers, changes, absences, overtime etc)
  • Assisting with monthly and ad-hoc payroll reports
  • Responding to payroll queries from managers and employees
  • Downloading and applying notifications via FBI
  • Monitoring the payroll mailbox ensuring all e-mails are responded to in a timely fashion
  • Assisting with the administration of the Company's stakeholder pension scheme
  • Responding to information requests from external bodies (CSA, DSS, Mortgage references)
  • On-line filing as required
  • Responding to employment reference requests for ex-employees
  • Undertake any other projects/tasks as may reasonably be required

PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

  • Accurate and timely processing of monthly payroll in conjunction with the Senior Payroll Advisor
  • On-going Management appraisal
  • Administration systems optimised
  • Information systems optimised
  • Minimal admin/payroll errors and complaint
