Assistant Team Manager - Adolescent Team

Our Client Hounslow Council, is looking for an Assistant Team Manager to join their Adolescent Team.

PURPOSE OF ROLE:

  • As a qualified Social Worker, you will be able to ensure good outcomes for children and young people in need or at risk through the delivery of timely, high quality social work services.
  • To provide effective day to day management and social work support to Social Workers, including the provision of reflective supervision, direction, guidance and decision making in complex cases.
  • As a qualified and experienced social worker you will ensure the highest standards of social work practice are provided to children and young people, managing performance via Hounslow policies and procedures.
  • To be a visible member of the Management Team and to contribute to the strategic policy and procedural developments within their Team, Service and the Specialist Services Division.
  • To support the Team Manager in ensuring the highest professional standards of practice are evidenced through rigorous quality assurance processes in line with statutory guidelines.
  • Responsible for the day to day management of up to six Social Workers
  • To ensure services are provided within set budgets and provide value for money.
  • To have a working knowledge of contextual safeguarding practices and to have working knowledge of both trauma informed and systemic approaches to working with young people and families
