The Opportunity
Excellent opportunity to join a large organisation on a 12 month FTC as Networking & Infrastructure Engineer. Onsite base to be either Darlington or London with occasional travel. Excellent benefits and ideally looking for immediately available candidates.
Essential Requirements
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Strong Interpersonal skills, ability to communicate to business managers
- Robust experience in providing networking support for corporate Infrastructure systems in a multi-site organisation (> 500 persons)
- Strong experience in supporting Cisco switches, access point, Wireless Lan controllers systems and upgrades
- Strong experience in supporting Fortigate firewalls, creation of firewall rule, VPN's, DMZ's etc.
- Strong Knowledge of IP networking, including routing and security
- Strong experience of Cisco WIFI technologies
- Good working knowledge of zScaler ZIA, ZPA, branch connectors
Desirable Requirements
- Good working knowledge windows server administration
- Good understanding of hardware virtualisation, particularly VMWare.
- Good understanding in Trellix security products, SCCM, Ivanti
- Good understanding with latest versions of Citrix XenApp
Qualifications
- Desirable - CCNA certified
