Worcester - Office Based

£22,000 - £25,000

A fantastic, established Worcester firm, known to us as a client for many years are keen to add an experienced Paralegal to their already impressive Conveyancing team.
Based in well-equipped offices in an impressive setting, close to commuter links, the Paralegal will benefit from working with a cohesive team of Assistants, Fee Earners and Partners to deliver a high quality of a full range of Paralegal Duties in Worcester.

Duties and responsibilities of the Paralegal in Conveyancing:

  • Deal effectively with clients and third parties over the telephone, in written

correspondence and occasionally face to face, in order to provide advice and
assistance

  • Be responsible for chasing various documentation, ID, mortgage offers and searches
  • Keep the case management system and any third-party web sites up to date in real

time

  • Ensure our clients and introducers of business receive the best possible service at

times

  • Prepare required documentation as required with the conveyancing process
  • Prepare the completion packs for the accounts department, to include completion

statements and invoices

  • Deal with post exchange matters as directed by your team manager
  • Be responsible for completions on the day of completion
  • Any other administrative duties required to assist your team and other teams should

the need arise

  • Preparing trial bundle indexes and bundles
  • Actively participate in meetings
  • Ad Hoc Paralegal admin

Skills Required:

  • Prior Conveyancing Paralegal / Assistant experience is essential
  • Competent in all IT applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail and a clear communication style (both written and verbal)
  • Good time management skills and the ability to manage and prioritise a range of tasks
  • Commitment to good customer service
  • Good empathy skills and the ability to deal with a range of different personality types when working with clients and witnesses
  • Commitment to meeting or exceeding personal targets
  • Willing to listen and learn
  • Good team player with a willingness to assist colleagues
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, committed and approachable
  • Ability to remain calm and professional when under pressure
