Senior Embedded Software Engineer

£50,000 - £65,000 + Training + Pension
Excellent opportunity for an experience Embedded Software Engineer to join a specialist in product design services in a role offering great technical variety, autonomy and flexibility.
This company is known for delivering cutting edge software product design services across various markets.
In this position, you will be a key member of a dynamic software development team, responsible for overseeing projects from initial design through to final delivery, while also having the opportunities to consult with clients on solutions. This is a hybrid role, requiring four days in the office each week, reflecting the nature of the work involved.
The ideal candidate will have strong commercial experience in embedded software development using C (C++ desirable) along with a strong understanding of 16- and 32-bit microcontrollers, including ARM, PIC, and DSP as well as standard buses and protocols. The right individual will be looking to work in a in a varied, fast-paced environment offering autonomy and flexibility.

The Role:
- Development of Embedded and Real Time Systems (C/C++)
- Design, Development and Delivery of Projects
- Technical Consultations
- Hybrid based in Edinburgh (4-days in the office)
The Person:
- Strong Embedded Software experience in C/C++
- Experience working with microcontrollers and standard buses/ protocols (ARM, PIC, I2C, SPI)
- Desirable experience with Linux/Python
- Residing in Central Belt
