A client based in London N4 is recruiting for an Interior Designer to join their team, the successful candidate will manage the designs of projects. This role is office based, paying a salary a salary of up to £40,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients and builders on site, with prompt responses to requests
- Ensure that designs are constantly updated in writing and all changes are documented
- Explain and liaise with builders on design elements and drawings
- Select and specify materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories for each project
- Identify and address any snags or defects versus designs on-site
- Ensure timely delivery of materials
- Keep the team of designers in the office updated with daily results or changes on sites
Experience:
- Must have previous work experience in a similar role at an Interior Design office.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings
- Ability to update project schedules and budgets
- Experience in purchasing and ordering materials
- Excellent project management skills
- Effective communication skills with clients and team members
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
Skills:
- Strong and effective communication skills
- Strong Analytical skills
- Intermediate computer literacy skills including Microsoft Office and Photoshop (Revit,
AutoCAD, 3Ds Max would be an advantage but not essential
- Strong pProblem-solving abilities
- Valid driving license
