About the Role

Are you passionate about the intricacies of financial operations? As an Settlement Analyst you will be at the forefront of managing and facilitating the seamless transfer of portfolios in and out of client accounts. Your expertise will ensure that transactions are processed and reconciled accurately, supporting our commitment to excellence in financial services.

In this critical role, you'll work directly with clients and investment managers, handling Crest settlements, trade bookings, and responding to queries with professionalism and efficiency. Your attention to detail and knowledge of trade settlement will be invaluable in maintaining compliance with regulations and improving existing processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Portfolio Transfers in and out of client accounts.
  • Process Reconciliation Reports and handle settlements for unit trusts/collectives.
  • Liaise with clients and investment managers, providing timely responses to queries.
  • Assist with Crest settlements and trade booking.
  • Ensure all processes and procedures comply with regulatory standards, particularly under the Consumer Duty Rules.
  • Uphold the FCA Individual Conduct Rules and demonstrate a commitment to delivering positive outcomes for customers.
  • Identify and escalate risks that may impact clients, ensuring the highest standard of client care.
  • Engage in continuous professional development, completing any necessary training and qualifications.

Who We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is someone with 3-4 years of experience in working with a range of custodians and outsourced providers. You should have a solid understanding of the equity settlement process for UK & International Securities, and familiarity with systems such as Euroclear (Crest GUI), Objectway (Altimis), and Allfunds is a plus.

Qualifications

  • A foundation qualification or higher in financial services is required.
