Job Summary:

As an HR Manager, you will oversee various HR operations, including recruitment, on boarding, training, performance management, and employee relations. My client is a large multi-site organisation with over 150 staff, dedicated to providing exceptional health care services. We are seeking a diligent HR Manager to join their management team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs, create job descriptions, and manage the hiring process.
  • Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with employment law.
  • Support effective staff management practices to promote a positive work culture.
  • Assist managers with performance and absence management.
  • Manage on boarding and leaver processes, including safer recruitment and DBS checks.
  • Advise managers on policy interpretation and employment terms.
  • Review and develop HR policies and procedures.
  • Deliver training on HR policies and procedures.
  • Manage complex and high-profile recruitment campaigns.
  • Reconcile contractual changes via HR payroll reports.
  • Provide support during investigations and meetings.

Experience:

  • Essential: Experience working with the public and handling L&D challenges, NHS or similar environment.
  • Desirable: 3+ years in progressive HR roles focusing on people management and leadership.

Qualifications:

Essential: Level 5 CIPD, GCSE Grade A-C in English and Mathematics.

Desirable: Level 7 CIPD.

Essential:

DBS Check, confidentiality, car owner with clean licence and business insurance.
