My client is a Global leading Aerospace and Defence organisation. Recruiting for a Estimating Manager with the responsibility to understand business requirements and develop cost analysis and costing/pricing strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Establishment of robust estimating & pricing plans and selection of effective and appropriate cost estimating methods to meet the pricing requirements
- Coordinating cost and pricing activities to ensure all aspects of the programme and associated risks are fully costed and considered
- Generating cost and pricing models to meet the needs of the programme and business requirements
- Leading price negotiations
- Collecting historical cost, programme and technical data from bids and actual programmes for use in near neighbour analysis
- Deliver briefings to senior stakeholders (both internal and external)
Required experience:
- People Management experience
- Senior Stakeholder management and engagement (both internal and external)
- Currently operating within or has relevant operational/business experience in cost analysis, planning, forecasting or business modelling/analysis
- Advanced MS Excel skills to be utilised in modelling and analysis with an analytical mind set and investigative approach with excellent numeracy skills
- Educated to a degree standard e.g. Maths, Statistics, Business, Engineering, Economics or equivalent experience
- Knowledge and experience of working overseas in a Business environment
