Title: Management Accountant
Salary: up to £45,000
Type: Full-time, 12 month Fixed Term Contract

Elevation Accountancy and Finance are pleased to be partnering with a choice employer in the Castleford region to recruit an Interim Management Accountant. This is an immediate requirement and initially offered on a 12-month contract basis.

Reporting directly to the Finance Director and working as part of a friendly finance team, the Management Accountant's key duties will include:
- Prepare and present monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements in line with accounting standards
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Monthly management accounts review meetings
- Analyse variances between actual performance and budget, providing insights to improve business performance
- VAT returns
- Oversee inventory valuation and investigate stock variances
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and financial regulations
- Ad hoc support to the Finance Director
We are looking to speak to Qualified or Part Qualified Accountants with good communication skills with previous experience.
