Key Account Manager

We have an exciting position available here at Ruby Energy for a target driven Key Account Manager to join the team and assist in the development of our high value accounts within our offices in Fleetwood.

Reporting to the Revenue & Sales Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be very proactive and deliver excellent service to the key accounts including Large multi TPI contracts, with a focus on commercial growth and cusomer excellence.

Main Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Building upon your existing relationships and exploring new opportunities for sales and growth
  • Debt recovery, encouraging and maintaining financial and commercial stability
  • To recognise and optimise opportunities with the aim of converting client requirements into potential commercial growth
  • Prepare regular pipeline forecasts for each of your allocated clients
  • Using great communication skills, establish client budgets, elevate their current requirements and work with them to develop any requirements they may have
  • Proficiently use Junifer to record all contract, purchase, and sales activities against allocated clients
  • Work alongside the project, operation teams to ensure all solution sales are correctly delivered
  • Maintaining an up to date understanding of market trends as well as competitor activities and potential new revenue streams
  • Account maintenance and management ensuring reads, payments and bills are accurate monthly.

Requirements to be considered:

  • Must be commercially aware and proactive with a proven background in Utilities Account Management and / or Technology Sales within an MSP environment
  • Excellent organisations skills are essential
  • Strategic thinker who can spot, convert, and close opportunities
  • An effective communicator with excellent presentation skills
  • A resourceful team player who is comfortable with both seeking and aiding their peers when needed
  • Self-motivated and resolution minded
  • Methodical thinker with exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience of delivering customer service at exceptional levels in all forms of communication
  • Able to identify sale retention opportunities
  • Debt collection proficient
  • Have strong understanding and experience with all operational workstreams and Teams
  • Able to manage upwards and communicate at multiple hierarchy management lines.
