Bookkeeper

We are seeking a highly focused and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, methodical, and possess a highly organised approach to their work. This role demands a high level of concentration and accuracy, particularly with bank reconciliation tasks.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Maintain accurate financial records and statements.
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including reconciling opening balances
- Ensure all financial transactions are correctly recorded.
- Prepare financial reports as required.
- Work methodically to meet deadlines and maintain high levels of accuracy.
- VAT returns/client statements
- Liaise with clients and vendors as necessary.
- Handling of large transactional data
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in the property sector desirable but not essential
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, with a strong focus on bank reconciliation.
- High level of concentration and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with a methodical and organised approach to work.
- Excellent numeracy and financial management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with bookkeeping software and strong computer literacy.
