Graduate Teaching Assistant

Horizon Teachers is currently recruiting a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Stratford this September. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced educators, support students' academic and personal development, and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic school environment.

The Role

  • Supporting teachers in the delivery of engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Providing 1:1 and small group support to students, including those with SEND
  • Assisting in classroom management and behaviour support
  • Helping with lesson preparation and administrative tasks
  • Encouraging students to achieve their full potential both academically and personally

About You

  • A recent graduate (any subject considered, though core subjects and psychology are especially welcome)
  • A genuine interest in pursuing a career in education
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, positive attitude
  • Ability to build rapport with students and staff
