Horizon Teachers is currently recruiting a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Stratford this September. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced educators, support students' academic and personal development, and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic school environment.
The Role
- Supporting teachers in the delivery of engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Providing 1:1 and small group support to students, including those with SEND
- Assisting in classroom management and behaviour support
- Helping with lesson preparation and administrative tasks
- Encouraging students to achieve their full potential both academically and personally
About You
- A recent graduate (any subject considered, though core subjects and psychology are especially welcome)
- A genuine interest in pursuing a career in education
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, positive attitude
- Ability to build rapport with students and staff
