Our client, a Global Lloyds broker, based in the heart of the City of London is looking for a Senior Claims Associate across the Non Marine Classes of business to join their organisation. Salary is very competitive, and you will be working for a global brand within the industry. Candidates with significant Energy and/or Financial Lines experience would be a significant bonus.
Your new role
In your new role you will be acting as second in command to the head of claims where you will be tasked with helping with the management of the team and in handling high-value, complex claims as a senior member of the Non-Marine team. You will need to be comfortable in working as a subject-matter expert for technical matters and queries and providing Claims statistics to senior members of the business as and when required.
Outside of this you will be tasked with processing, investigating, validating, and then paying out these claims within the relevant timeframes. You will be responsible for managing international high-value and complex claims from cradle to grave, undertaking fraudulent checks and adding claims advice to clients across Energy & Renewables and Financial Lines classes of business.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will need extensive Lloyd's Claims experience within the Non-Marine Class of business, ideally within Financial Lines and Energy Claims. You will have experience of managing/mentoring and training more junior members of the team, extensive experience of producing and reporting statistical data to clients and great ECF systems knowledge with experience in Eclipse and SQL being highly advantageous.
You will also need to have excellent attention to detail, the ability to deal with technical and highly complex claims, and be highly organised and able to priorise and repritorise tasks based on urgency. Previous experience in handling Latin American claims and Spanish language skills would also be a significant bonus.
