HR Advisor - You'll work closely with managers and staff, providing expert guidance on recruitment, employment policies, and other HR-related matters, ensuring processes are streamlined and conducted consistently across the organisation.
Description
HR Advisor- Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues across the organisation, providing clear advice and support on HR issues and best practices.
- Take ownership of operational HR tasks, including recruitment, contract management, performance reviews, and absence management.
- Guide managers through the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring vacancies are filled efficiently and in line with organisational policies.
- Maintain and update the People Management Information System, producing regular reports for management as well as ad hoc requests.
- Provide support in handling employee relations cases, including disciplinary actions and grievances, ensuring procedures are followed appropriately.
- Work closely with payroll teams to manage employee pay and pension matters.
- Assist in the review and development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Ensure all necessary pre-employment checks, including DBS clearances, are carried out and appropriately recorded.
- Manage and maintain accurate employee records, contributing to safeguarding and compliance efforts.
- Assist in projects and initiatives aimed at improving HR operations and supporting organisational objectives.

- Experience handling employee relations cases
- Experience with iTrent
