IT Manager Worthing £60,000
We are seeking an experienced IT Manager with a proven track record in technology management, team leadership, and overseeing complex systems. The ideal candidate will drive performance, enhance team capabilities, and maintain high customer satisfaction. The IT Manager responsibilities:
- Establishing performance goals and providing ongoing feedback, coaching, and development to enhance team performance and capability.
- Overseeing IT End User Services, Computer Operations, Data Centre Services, and Hardware Support Services to maintain customer satisfaction and ensure quality standards, adherence to processes, policies, and service level agreements.
- Providing technical expertise (both tactical and operational) on the evaluation, selection, implementation, and maintenance of information systems.
- Developing strategic plans and practices that support integrated and progressive infrastructure and operations to meet current and future business requirements.
- Driving automation in operational tasks to improve efficiency and traceability of activities.
- Partnering with Cyber Security leadership to develop, implement, and manage IT controls, policies, procedures, practices, and processes.
- Researching and implementing best practices for infrastructure services, including proven infrastructure methodologies, service management processes, and operational support.
Required skills for the IT Manager:
- Substantial managerial experience in technology, team leadership, and managing complex systems.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams effectively and collaboratively in a mid-sized or large organization.
- The ability to focus on multiple products and communicate effectively within your team and with other key stakeholders.
- Excellent innovation skills and a strong commercial sense to ensure returns on investments made into technology.
- Exposure to broad and diverse technology stacks - Microsoft 365, Azure, HP Servers, PDA's, Zebra Printers, Sonicwall.
- Proven experience in managing complex projects and critical, highly reliable systems.
- Experience in managing budgets and forecasting project costs.
- Experience in change management would be an advantage.
The successful IT Manager will receive:
- Salary up to £60,000
