Job Description:

As an Estimator/Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in the financial management and cost estimation of our commercial interior design and fit-out projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed within budget, providing accurate cost estimates, and working closely with the project management and design teams to achieve our clients' vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial interior design and fit-out projects.
  • Conduct quantity take-offs and measurements from drawings and specifications.
  • Analyze project requirements and specifications to ensure accurate pricing.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes.
  • Monitor project costs and progress, providing regular reports to management.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and designers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of tender documents.
  • Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier bids and contracts.
  • Provide support in the preparation of project budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor in the commercial interior design and fit-out sector.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and costs.
  • Proficient in using industry-standard estimating software and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with various stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations.
