We are currently recruiting for an experienced class 2 day driver for pallet delivery work out of Eastleigh. If the role works well for you and you are a good fit for the customer, there will be an option to become a permanent member of staff.
- Duties will include driving a class 2 vehicle. There will be roughly 15 drops per day. Most deliveries require the use of a manual or electronic pump truck.
- Starts are around 0700/ 0730.
- Monday to Friday.
- Weekend shifts available at higher rates.
- £16.00 per hour - Ltd company.
- £14.5 per hour - PAYE.
Requirements:
- Valid HGV class 2 (C) Driving Licence.
- Valid driver CPC and Digital Tachograph cards.
- Minimum 1 year class 2 experience.
- Preferably 6 months pallet delivery experience.
- Relevant knowledge of EU driver hour rules and working time legislation.
- Good communications skills.
- Over 25 for insurance purposes.
- No more than 6 points on your licence.
