Warehouse Deputy Fixed Term Contract - 6 Months

We currently have an opportunity to work as a Wavemaster within our Bathgate Distribution Centre.

This role has set shifts which are 4am-12:30pm, 12pm-8:30pm and 8pm-4:30am working 5 days out of 7 (some weekend work included). Furthermore, the role will involve up to 9 weeks of travel to other regions within the UK for training. During this period candidates will spend their 2 days off at home and there will be time allowed for travelling. A driving licence is not a requirement as car sharing will be an option.

The role of the Wavemaster is to ensure that all tasks (replenishment and picking) are released correctly and on time to ensure that shipments are ready to leave the RDC in full for the launch time of the transport vehicle. This role will require excellent computer skills and a good understanding of Microsoft Excel. Furthermore, experience of using Manhattan Warehouse Management System is desirable but not essential.

But whatever we're doing, we must be getting it right. With a wave of impressive sales figures behind us, we're opening new stores at lightning speed. And without the great teams at our warehouses, there'd be no products in those stores.

Pay

The salary for this position is £15.68 (day rate) and £19.60 (night rate). This salary will be offered on an initial 6-month fixed-term basis. After 6 months the successful candidate may remain in this role permanently or revert to Selector terms (salary £14.68).

You will also receive an additional £4.00 for every stand-in hour.
