Description
The Junior Credit Controller will be responsible for:
- Manage and maintain client accounts
- Ensure timely debt collection and minimise financial risk.
- Prepare accurate reports on credit control activity.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to promote prompt payment.
- Work closely with the accounting and finance team to streamline processes.
- Adhere to all relevant financial regulations and company policies.
- Contribute to the team's objectives and support colleagues when required
- Negotiating payment plans and setting up terms and conditions
- Other ad hoc tasks to support wider finance team
Profile
A successful Junior Credit Controller should have:
- Strong communication skills and confident telephone manner
- Excellent attention to detail
- Tenacity and resilience
- Exposure to working in a finance department, some finance administration experience would be ideal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- The ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
