They are offering a very competitive: base salary up to £45K + study package + Hybrid Working + flexi start/ finish times + onsite parking.
As an Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Work closely with department heads and managers to align financial strategies with the overall organisational goals
- Prepare and present financial reports to assist with business decision making.
- Lead the budgeting process Month end journals.
- Set realistic financial targets & Priorities
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards
- Support budget holders on finance systems and processes to develop effective budget management and controls
- Develop improvements in models and internal processes
Desired Profile:
- Relevant working experience in a finance function.
- Intermediate user of Excel (VLOOKUP's, Pivot Tables).
- Good communicator with ability to engage with multiple business stakeholders
