Tack TMI exist to empower organisations through providing tailored training solutions to teams, and individuals, across an array of different business areas. They are a global provider of meaningful learning experiences and deliver in over 55 countries and in 37 languages, with one aim - to help people and organisations to thrive. Tack TMI are an integral part of the hugely successful Gi Group Holding and lead their L&D practice globally.

We are looking for a highly consultative sales professional who will be responsible for growing Tack TMI's leadership solutions. They will drive revenue through developing relationships with target customers and identifying areas for growth before tailoring bespoke leadership programmes that address specific skill-gaps. It is key that they have relationship building and long-term ROI as their core focus as well as an innate ability to establish organisational need through in-depth analysis. Experience within L&D would be advantageous but exposure to solution-based selling is essential.

THE ROLE:

  • Participates in defining and ensuring the implementation of the sales strategy for our Leadership Centre of Excellence.
  • As well as selling services, you will also act as an advisor to your customers.
  • Generates leads and opportunities by researching and engaging with prospects, also working with Marketing to commission targeted lead-generation campaigns.
  • Analyses and reports on customer needs and trends and works with solution designers to propose commercially appropriate solutions.
  • Ensures that new client acquisition targets are met, constantly defining the most appropriate actions to achieve sales objectives.
  • Balances account development and opportunity management efforts with forward planning to ensure predictable revenue generation and growth.
  • Plans and records sales activity using HubSpot and reports on business results
  • Builds significant and lasting relationships with all key stakeholders of each target company, focusing on the client's head office to develop business directly or to obtain sponsorship to facilitate business opportunities across the Tack TMI network.
  • Manages the acquisition, prospecting and nurturing of assigned accounts throughout the development of complex business relationships with the accounts' decision makers.
  • Promotes, establishes and reinforces a spirit of partnership and collaboration with Tack TMI Partners in relation to international business development.
  • Works with key internal functions in an open and constructive manner, constantly integrating plans and actions with the priorities of other functions.
  • Engages with solution design and project management at an early stage to ensure customer needs are understood and effective solutions are proposed.
  • Proactively promotes a constant flow of information, both top-down and bottom-up.

THE CANDIDATE:

  • Can demonstrate previous sales experience in the Training & Consulting sector in structured and complex companies (multi-national, multi-location companies) across Europe, including Scotland (location of our Leadership Centre of Excellence).
  • An appreciation of how to develop leaders, including psychometrics, assessments, coaching, workshops and self-paced learning.
  • Excellent communication, selling and negotiation skills - both verbal and written
  • Experience of co-ordinating strong responses to RFPs and generating compelling presentations (using PowerPoint)
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with others.

  • Will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
