Responsibilities:
- Carry out cleaning and estate duties in accordance with management direction
- Provide relief caretaking duties on various estates, as directed by supervisors
- Work collaboratively with caretaking staff to complete tasks on different estates
- Assist in the distribution of stores and equipment
- Keep records of complaints, incidents, and contraventions of tenancy regulations
- Maintain the lighting of communal areas and keep keys for communal parts
- Take appropriate action during emergencies and report incidents to the relevant departments
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with tenants, offering guidance and assistance
- Carry out minor repairs and remove offensive graffiti when necessary
Essential:
- Demonstrated literacy and numeracy skills
- Previous experience in cleaning or caretaker duties
- Ability to work independently or in a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic repair and maintenance knowledge
- Physically able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Awareness and commitment to safeguarding vulnerable individuals
Desirable:
- Valid driver's licence to drive a van
- Transferable DBS check - If not this is something that can be completed with Adecco
