KS1 Class Teacher
Tempest Education are looking a Year 2 class teacher to work at one of our partner schools in the London Borough of Croydon.
The school are looking for an experienced class teacher to lead English for KS1 as well as teaching the year 2 class.
The Ofsted Rated "Good" 2-form entry infant school are looking for a full time class teacher to work at their school from September 2024, the pay scale will be M4-M6. The station located closest to the shcool aisThornton Heath the school also has on street parking.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge and understanding of the Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Phonic Scheme there will also be children with additional needs within the class. You will be responsible for planning lessons in accordance with the curriculum and will be expected to follow the school's policies and procedures.
You must be a Qualified Teacher to apply for this role.
Main Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for the education and welfare of a designated class of children in accordance with the current school policies and procedures
- Ensure that children are engaging and make sure no child is left behind.
- Plan work for the class in accordance with national curriculum.
- Demonstrate a high standard of display both in the classroom and outside the classroom.
- English Lead for KS1
