Berry Recruitment are working with an established and highly regarded Hotel in Bideford seeking a Restaurant manager.

This thirty bedroom boutique hotel, with both busy lunchtime eatery and finer dining grill room, are seeking an experienced individual with a comprehensive understanding of the hospitality industry to join the team initially as a restaurant supervisor, with the aim of eventually progressing to a full time duty management role. As a Restaurant Manager, you'll be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of service, overseeing day-to-day operations, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Provide effective leadership to the Restaurant team, including staff training, performance management, and onboarding.
  • **Operations:**Assist in the management of the restaurant and front of house team, to maintain consistently high quality of service, Assist in the day-to-day running and management of the hotel.
  • Guest Experience: Ensure exceptional guest experiences by maintaining cleanliness, safety, and quality standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to achieve overall business goals.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a restaurant supervisors role
  • Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills. Strong customer service skills
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications are a plus.
