Zenith People are working with our client who are a Manufacturer recruiting for an experienced Process Engineer to join their busy team in the North-East. As Process Engineer you will provide clear instructions, set up information for machines and processes, and devise the necessary designs required to support several departments with their overall manufacturing process.
Job Description
- Creation and verification of project specific manufacturing specifications, instructions,
- Carrying out risk reviews to report back to relevant team
- Work to deadlines
- Documenting, recording and maintaining existing machine capabilities.
- Documenting and maintaining relevant calculation packages, standard operating procedures, rules and templates.
- Using lean manufacturing techniques to identify machine improvements
- Leading or supporting in commissioning projects
- Recording of data from machinery
- Recording and feeding-back design related improvements
- Working with other teams to support the development and implementation of tools/calculation packages
- Supporting other departments as and when required
Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required
- Degree or equivalent experience in an Engineering discipline - preferably Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering
- Proficient in Microsoft office tool such as word, Excel and Powerpoint.
- Experience in design tool is not required but beneficial, such as AutoCAD, Inventor.
