The Accounts Administrator will join a busy Accounts Receivable team. Previous accounts receivable or accounts administration experience is not required but candidates must have strong numerical skills and be comfortable working in a high-volume processing role.

Essentially the successful applicant will have a minimum of 6 -12 months administration experience, good communication skills and an enthusiasm to deliver strong levels of customer service to internal and external stakeholders. The role may suit a person looking for a trainee accounts level role.

As the Accounts Administrator you will:

  • Manage Accounts Receivable activity including: Raising all invoices and Pro Forma's for fulfilled orders and ensuring these are sent to customers on a timely basis.
  • Access portals for electronic invoicing to customers.
  • Circulate mid and end of month statements are sent to customers on a timely basis.
  • Customer accounts to be set-up on system and file data.
  • Log and allocate cash postings onto NetSuite.
  • Raise marketing invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Answer customer and internal queries.
  • Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time.

The ideal Accounts Administrator will:

  • 6-12 months administration experience
  • Confidence liaising internally and with customers over the telephone
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with customers
  • Ability to work confidentially and to treat issues with sensitivity
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise work and manage several tasks concurrently
  • Ability to work individually on own initiative
  • Ability to work to a high level of accuracy
  • Experience of all Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
